Up up and away

This blog will keep you all informed of our few weeks away from OZ from mid September to October month end, as well giving us a refresher about the trip as we look back at this blog in a few months or years time.

This is our schedule as booked. There are many as yet unscheduled days, especially once we get to Ireland, Scotland, the UK and Europe, which is part of the plan to keep it flexible.

 Thinking of travelling by rail/ferry to Ireland. We will rent a car in Scotland, and drop it off in London, Eurostar to Paris, then Eurail around Europe. We will go to Zurich, as we can stay with friends there and also a friend in Prague (Czech Republic) who we will stay with as well. Also hope to get to northern Italy Trieste, Venice & possibly Florence.
